I've had this awhile and bought it believing it to be Kralik. I've several ribbed vases with leaves applied to their rims but just not in this colourway. However recently I've found three other examples in this colourway posted here on C.W. This one has the leaves placed so as to make it a JIP vase. Broken pontil......which is consistent with my other Kralik applied leaves vases.

This a fabulous vase - love the intense contrast between the deep ruby & pale yellow!
Here's one of mine that's "in the ballpark"...it has a lattice pattern rather than ribbing but do feel it's Kralik...

Hi IronLace, I'd put yours as Kralik too.....the lattice/diamond texture on yours was used on a lot of Kralik m.o.p. pieces. Plus I have one like yours but with yet another texture on the vase itself.
Isn't it great that we can compare and learn from opposite ends of the earth :)

Thanks, Karen, and great amongst the predominant green of its art nouveau applied flower/leaves shelf fellows.
My new year started with a cold so can only get better. Best wishes to you all for a wonderful 2019.....all the way through :)

Oh I love this ! The colors and how it seems to have just opened up like a flower is eye candy
    14. sklo42 sklo42, 6 years ago
Thank you, Manikin :) I think it's a particularly nice example of Kralik Applied Leaves as the deep red 'spills' into the opalescent leaves, making it look like a flower, just as you said.
