Papst Blue Ribbon beer bottle with original ribbon attached they really had ribbon when you brought them . Looking down the top is some kind of metal insert

The bottle is cool with a real ribbon attached but the more interesting thing is the cannon aimed at the gate!
There must be a story there!

@ Thomas -- I actually have *numerous* items in my collections that were scavenged from that PBR Peoria brewery when it was razed in the mid-late 1980's. I grew up in nearby Galesburg, and had a buddy who worked on one of the 'scrapping' crews as the plant was being demolished -- he ultimately brought me several boxfuls of little 'treasures' that never quite made it to the scrapyard... <lol>
