It's cold in Utah but we stood this cool Hi Speed Gas sign from the 1920s in the new part of the Lakeside Storage free Museum today anyway. Hi Speed began in 1917 in Toledo Ohio and was famous for giving away food with purchases during the depression. These black Hi Speed signs are the earlier models than the later Green models that followed. We feel very fortunate to have found this rare guy for the collection. Buying it was not nearly the challenge as actually getting it! That's another story!
GR8 piece! Not common at all!
Great sign Sparky !!!
Hope they have some high speed tums for that - I'll look for flames shooting out of your car !~

Thx for the Love it and you're right. I haven't ever seen another one for sale & feel lucky to get it.
Trey,
Thx. I just wish I could follow u around and see how u manage to find so much cool stuff.
PhilDMorris,
Not sure about the flames, nor the actual octane of the gas, but the sign is cool. It's hard to tell from the pix but the background is actually 2 colors. It's black with green spots all over it and very cool up close.
