We've seen this décor often on CW, more often in a red and blue pattern, but I think this combination of colours is rather more attractive. It has a pale blue base with yellow spatter and dark blue honeycomb pattern, which gives way to the occasional 'mix' with the yellow to give green, this combined with a type of yellow 'foam' glass for the simple handles makes this a particularly appealing vase. 9" tall.
I'm enjoying the 'Handled' theme, Phil, and hoping there's a third to come.
You say the handles are a type of 'foam' glass, which I don't really understand. Are they hollow, perhaps?
Hi Peggy - no they're not hollow. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they are a kind of dense soft mix spatter - clearly not solid in colour more light and frothy. I bet that doesn't help does it?
At least I know they're not hollow! If the glass in question is new to both parties what can either expect.......
Haha....very true
... Another amazing piece. Congrats!
Thanks Glasstronaut!
Love it, nice colors agree. Belongs in the 60’s London polyester scene
