    This flint lock has a missing part as you can see (flint holder). It has writing on the side that, I believe, is "Kung Wurt Fabrik".
    The word Wurt may be misspelled due to not being able to read it well with magnifying glass.
    When I first received the gun I shook it and pieced of broken glass and tacks came out of the barrel. I guess the previous owner did not have enough to purchase lead balls.
    Would like to know when and where it may have been made.

      Not a flintlock-- hammer shows it is percussion, so a conversion. The nipple is missing as is the end barrel band and the remaining band looks to be replaced.

      A close up photo of the markings would help.
