Pictured here are two quart cop the cream versions from Collier's Meadow Crest Farm (Westford, Mass.). The bottle on the left is one inch shorter than the regular size bottle on the right. These shorter versions are called "squat or econo" bottles. The front sides of both bottles is the same, while the back sides vary tremendously. Both bottles are quite collectible.

The molded faces on the top of milk bottles were introduced in the 1930's. There were two types of faces..1) baby top head introduced around 1936 2) cop the cream head resembling a policeman's head around 1938. Both types are highly collectible.
