Hubley Army-Air Combat Set

Just picked up this Hubley Army-Air Combat Set #56. It was only cataloged in '58 and all the aircraft come in colors only available in this set. Hubley made quite a few sets during this period. In a lot of these sets the box was made to be cut and assembled in some kind of associated building, in this case it forms a hangar.
The set consisted of 1 #495 aircraft in olive drab, 2 #467's also in olive drab and 2 #430's in yellow/aluminum.
I've posted a few #495's in various color combos before. The #495 was mainly issued as "Navy Fighter". The aircraft is fanciful, it has a cowling, bubble canopy and fuselage resembling a late production P-47. I also posted it had F6F wings, I need to revise that. Given that the wing tips are rounded, fold upward(instead of sideways along the fuselage, like Grumman WW II carrier aircraft) and has wing oil cooler intakes, I'm going to declare it having F4U wings without the inverted gullwing. So when in USAAF colors it is a P-47f4u Thundersair. When in the service of the USN/USMC it will henceforth be a F4Up47 Corbolt. Please make a note next to the #495 silhouette in your aircraft spotting guide. The olive drab is the most desirable color of the #495's, only avaiable in this set for one year. The blue/silver version was only available in '58 in one set but doesn't get the premium the OD does. This is a pre '61 non hoodscooped Blunderbuss II© approved version, the cowlings are always loose fitting on these. The box has issues but the aircraft, especially this one are near mint. It's got a great gloss paint job.
Also included are 2 #467's also in OD. They also get a premium in this color. The #467 was cataloged from '53-'65 in various colors as a navy fighter. The closest aircraft resembling this is maybe a F2a Brewster Buffalo......possibly?
The last 2 are #430's that were cataloged from '55-'62 in different color schemes. I guess it's supposed to be a Bell P-59 Airacomet, with the wing inlets, shape and birdcage canopy. The P-59 was the first USA production jet, not successful but a foundation for later planes.
This is HTF, like I said the box has some issues, but I'd like to get it photocopied and try to assemble a hangar. Hope everyone had a great New Year. Big game tonight, Roll Tide!
