I got this old Red Lacquer framed Mirror at the Flea Market a while ago, but can't find any information about it. It needs a new Mirror, because the silvered back of the 3/16" glass is peeling off, but I think the frame is beautiful. The dark Red Lacquer has a gold hand painted scene of a Parrot on a branch, with a Butterfly, and a Wasp on the left of it, and a Butterfly on the right. There's a 4 petal flower in a square pattern at the 4 corners, and a branch of flowers and leaves on the bottom. The sides have Robed Men with hats standing on a cloud, the left is holding a Parasol, and the one on the right has a Flag. The Frame is 22 3/8" high, and 16 3/8" wide, and made with 1" x 3" pieces.
Any ideas about this Mirror, or information, that you may have is very welcome! Thank you for looking! :^)
