I would like to know when you think this desk was made. It is solid oak with dovetailed drawers. The top is removable, as is the back knee panel, so by adding back drawers, it could be converted to a double-sided partners desk. I don't know its history, as I bought it used about 10 years ago. Would it be worth refinishing and replacing the top 'leather'?
Thanks for any help you can give me with this.

1950's or 60's. The top was removable because it wouldn't fit through most doors back then. Common desk. This is not the place for asking value as per the rules which are available to read. Try the appraisal link at the top of the page for asking value.
