Found a picture of my 3x great grandfathers in what I believe is a Post Mexican War era photo of him. Maybe an enlisted 1854 frock jacket? No idea on the sword, I have not found anything matching the pommel or handle design. Help appreciated!
Not a military rig-- all of it is fraternal.
Image appears to be a snapshot, so 20th century. A photo of the back and the dimension would help to confirm.
