Found in a thrift store a few years ago (no, I've never been on a Virgin Airlines flight nor do I ever particularly expect to be) it was *somebody else* who violated the polite request printed on the bottom of its label which reads "this is a flying blanket . please ensure it does not walk". <lol> In a pretty red/blue/purple color scheme, its woven polyester (?) fabric is indeed warm and comfy, measuring about 39" x 55" with the VIRGIN ATLANTIC name and logo at one corner.

Since I got it, if I'm not actually using it as a 'lap blanket' on a chilly evening (which it does well, but thankfully we don't have too many 'chilly evenings' here?!) it more often lives as a 'throw cover' on a chair someplace, which it (accidentally?) is also rather perfectly sized for, as well as being my favorite colors... :-) :-) :-)
Great Blanket!!! My first plane flight was abroard Overseas National Airways to Basic training in Colarado in 65!!! Before Nam!!! Had a Emergency landing in St. Louis!!! So I nicknamed the plane the Proud Bird with the Cast Iron Tail!!!
I have a small collection, but rarely need them in the tropics. Air France & even one from Eastern Airlines. Hey, they followed me home !
THANKS MUCH to hunterqlee, Newfld, Vynil33rpm, Brunswick, yougottahavestuff, blunderbuss2, SEAN68, & fortapache for tapping the <love it> button for my "flying blanket"!! :-) :-) :-)
YGHS, I haven't stepped aboard *any* airplane for about a decade now and am certainly not in any hurry to do so -- thus BB2, it isn't so likely another brand of 'travel blanket' will "follow me home" anytime soon [with the possible exception of an AMTRAK blanket...I love taking train trips but don't get to do so often] unless it happens to follow me home from another thrift store...? <LOL>
I set up my restaurant in Jamaica with Eastern "silverware" ! Even had return guests bringing pieces for me. It became a running joke.
