Colourless glass moulded and free-formed covered with silver-yellow and dark-green crumb melts and wound with broad silver thread. Six thumb-print indentations in the globular body and elongated neck. The three leafy edges of the mouth have been cut and stretched outwards with the help of pincers and scissors.
There are two similar pieces in F. Zelasko's Fritz Heckert book (page 194 item 319 and page 196 item 334). Those vases are 26 cm high whereas this one has a longer neck and measures 29 cm with a base 10 cm in diameter.
Iridised with ground and polished pontil. An Otto Thamm design c. 1901, form no. TH69.
