    i found this yesterday at my favorite segunda. When i was a kid, my best friend's dad collected and restored t-birds from the 50s and i've always liked them alot. this model is really cool - although missing a couple small parts. it's heavy and 10 inches long.

      Nice old T-bird model -- that 'back wheel' is actually what's known (in real life) as a "Continental Kit" -- an aftermarket add-on accessory package (based on an originally 1930's-40's Lincoln style design, I think?) which was popular in the 50's-70's or so. (and still to this day to a lesser degree amongst 'old car people'...modern vehicles don't lend themselves to such 'modifications', for the most part...<groan>)
