Ok I got this beautiful Pill Box at my local flea market. I think there is a Hindu God on it. But I am not sure.

Lovely design, I like that the inside is also painted
This doesn't look like cloisonne to me ... The metal looks to thick or uneven and the enamel to even . I could be wrong but I thing you may have a peice of champleve ( where the metal has the design almost stamped out and then colored in. I'm not sure maybe it's a painted enamel, But the pics just don't look quite like cloisonne to me.
Maybe I'm just really incorrect but I feel like a lot of cloisonne has an unavoidable bleeding to the color whilst yours seems perfect . maybe thats just my cheap cloisonne though lol :)
Echo, you are right, this is another style of metal decorated with enamel, called champleve for the impressed metal design with raised border, forming cavities for the many enamels applied and fired. Very nice.
