Looking to identify the age. I figured the lock is the best way to determine age. Would appreciate feedback.

Lol bb2, you offer a good deal for it, I can’t do better.
Maybe the poster can show us the back side of this piece and the side of a drawer to the assembly dovetails.

I hope so. This is a very interesting piece to me.
Construction photos would be helpful-- joints on drawers, back and interior would all be a good start.

More rare than beautiful. Made somewhere in the country by the local joiner with assistance from the local locksmith. A botanist can determine what kind of wood. 18th or 19th century ? A C14 analysis can determine the age.
