It started out rainy on Saturday 02/9/19, so after I found a couple of things, I left, only to find out on Sunday that it had cleared up and turned out to be a nice day, for those that stayed, but I think I made up for it on Sunday after all! :^D My first find was a Pottery Dachshund Planter, from the 1950's that is in perfect condition, but I'll show that with my other Pottery, and Glass finds! Next, I stopped by a seller that had just put a bag, and old Jewelry Box of a lot of older Costume Jewelry out on his table, and because it was early not many, of the few sellers that were there, had started putting their things out, so I spent a little time going through the mixed up bag, and Box, and found the Bunch of Bananas Brooch and Earrings, they're unmarked, and dirty, but looked fun to me! Next I found the pair of Rose Earrings, again dirty, but saw the Carnegie mark of Hattie Carnegie, and thought that could be of interest to collectors, and then I saw the Butterfly, marked Sarah Cov., so what the heck! It was a total of $3. for the 6 pieces, so a nice find, and the seller told me that he was selling these, for an Older neighbor Woman, that wanted him to try to sell them if he could!
Next, a friend said that a seller on the end of the row, had some Pottery and Glass that I might be interested in so I headed that way, and did find some, in the boxes of stuff that he had gotten from a Storage Locker Sale, I got a good price for the things that I got, so took a trip to the car to off-load, and headed back to see what else the Seller had, after finding another piece of Pottery, and some Glass, I noticed there was some Jewelry on the front table, and after paying for my new finds, I grabbed up the Turquoise, and Silver Necklace, marked GCO1, over 925. The Red and Blue Rhinestone and Silver Bow Brooch, marked 925 HAN and the Silver Dragon Bracelet, marked 925. I paid up for the 3 pieces, but thought it was fair! :^D The hammered Gold colored Metal and Rhinestone Necklace I found at a Thrift Store, and wanted to show it! It's pretty! :^D
Thank you for looking, please let me know if you'd like to see anything closer! All comments are welcome! :^)
Hey Thomas, thanks for taking a look, and giving some love for what you saw! :^)
Wow, Bill, you got some nice pieces at a great price. I think my fave is the bracelet.
Thanks Mrstyndall, the seller wouldn't drop the price on that one, but for everything that I got earlier, the balance was in my favor! :^D I'll show the Pottery and Glass that I got after I have time to photograph it!
Thank you both for the love you gave, Mrstyndall, and Vynil, it's always nice to get! :^)
Thank you my #1 Mary, for your very nice comment, and Bali info, I thought maybe, but didn't finish researching all of these yet! :^D It's hard for me to ever pay-up! B^O but this time I made an exception! :^}
Thanks so much for the love xoxo and have a Happy Valentines Day! Oh no! just 3 days! Yips! :^)
Yes Mary, I limit my Flea Market days to $100. so if I pay up everyone knows the limit :^D too bad I have bad friends there too, that will give any extra that I might need! :^l short term though, and always an ATM in the Snack Bar! Damn! :^D
There are a lot of people, Sellers, and Buyers checking Ebay sales(my flip phone don't work that way!) but if the seller is just looking make a little, getting rid of things, the buys are still there, and as a buyer sometimes "ya got-ta have it" so no thought of checking price! :^)
Thanks to you all for the love you gave,
