20 x 24” illustrations acquired in Akron OH. Not signed except C in circle. Reverse is S L Nelson (Samuel L Nelson) later affiliated with Curlee Clothing. The bearded Viking logo with winged hat is very interesting but so far haven’t found any further associations with it. The model DOES resemble Charles A Beach ... but I’m thinking these are AFTER Leyendecker not BY Leyendecker because these have vignette scenes in the background. I haven’t found any done this way be Leyendecker. What do you think? Anyone have further insight?
