Made in England was it used to make french fries? One of our customers brought in a bag of old kitchen tools. She's downsizing and if I wanted to display some. Did I guess right?

When I was at basic training years ago I was on KP and the Mess Cook said your job is putting the potaoes in that thingamajig to peel the spuds!!! Easypeezey!!! He came back later and said where are the spuds??? I said still in the running machine!!!
The potatoes looked mashed without the boiling part!!! Took me awhile to clean that mess up!!! and got KP again the next day.
