Vaseline -- "THE FIRST AID KIT IN A JAR"

This is a little glass jar with metal screw top, paper labels, and vestiges of its original contents still intact. VASELINE white petroleum jelly, made by CHESEBROUGH-POND'S INC., N.Y., N.Y. with their name also molded into the bottom of the jar.

Guessing this 1-3/4 oz. bottle was probably first sold in the 1960's-70's -- not only is it "pre-UPC", it still has the faint remains of it original 25c purple price stamp in the white spot on its top.
