This little metal box still holds 4 of its 5 original glass fuses, size 3AG 20AMP, made by JEFFERSON ELECTRIC COMPANY of BELLWOOD, ILL. Wonderful (if worn) 3-color detail to its outside, with cardboard (?) insert to hold the fuses inside -- they showing a little corrosion/etc on their metal parts, likely caused by general humidity (?) over the who-knows-how-many yrs this little box might have first spent riding around in the bottom of somebody's automobile's glovebox. I'll guess (without any actual research) that it/they are 1930's-40's, only based on the gist of the text on the back of the box which is a sorta (amusing by today's standards?) 'tutorial' explaining what fuses are, and that cars have them too...?? <lol>
MANY THANKS to: vetraio50, Newfld, Brunswick, officialfuel, blunderbuss2, Sinnomore, sugargirl, & oldpeep for stopping by, having a look, and tapping your <love it> button!!
