Here's another thing re-found while digging thru dusty boxes looking for the Army bowls the other day. ;-) :-)
Obviously a PABST BLUE RIBBON BEER bottle opener, it is made of stamped steel and is about 4" long overall. On its unpainted backside it has an imprinted stamping that looks like it reads "PABST BREWING CO. MILWAUKEE WIS" in a ring with "PAT PEND DISPLAY M62" within.
And that's about all I know about it, other than it's still here after I found it sometime/where long ago now forgotten...?? ;-) :-)
Would go great with my Papst bottle with a real ribbon. I'll pop it back up!!!
THANKS MUCH to: yougottahavestuff, fortapache, blunderbuss2, Brunswick, EJW-54, Vinyl33rpm, purvis, & officialfuel for your <love it>s for this old bottle opener!! Anybody have a clue how old it might really be, I fully admit I'm not a 'beer person', thus don't actively collect breweriana (or knowledge thereof) of any particular brand unless its accidental...? ;-) :-) :-)
YGHS, yes indeed it would -- it also doesn't look half bad under the soft glow of my fluorescent PABST beer light... ;-) ;-) ;-)
