I think that sometimes The Hunt for the Things that we Collect, is what I really like most, because after I find "It", then I have to decide What Now? Keep It? Sell It? Search for information about It?(although, I like doing this too!), Pack It away, or Display?
The knowledge, that I've gotten, from the Sellers, Buyers, and other Collectors, on the Hunt, is something I don't think that I could have gotten any other way, the information is as varied, as the People, that I meet when on the Hunt is why, a Collection of Knowledge! :^D
These are some of the Finds at The Flea Market today, Sunday 02/24/2019, there's a Ceramic Hanging Planter with Cranes, and a Seascape, made in Japan.
A Masque, made of Resin painted Gold, with Playing Cards, Rhinestones, and Ribbons, in Red, and Black.
There's a Gold Colored Metal 3 5/8" x 4 5/8" Cigarette Case, with a Map on it and "U.S. Occupation Zone" 1948, it has a 3/4" Black enameled circle, with Yellow center, and a Black C, with a Red Lightning Bolt shaped M inside.
There are two MOP and Silver plate Cocktail Forks.
A single Wine Chalice, made of Pottery with a Burgundy glazed Stem, and Lavender Cup, with Gold decorations, and interior, it looks like there was probably another matching one, that fit as a Lid, and together would have been used for a Wedding Toast!
The Amber/Gold Iridescent EAPG Low footed Bowl, has a Cracked Ice design on the exterior, it's 8"dia. and 1 3/4"h.
I found this Artistic(it says on top) Barber Shop(on the left side) Tin Ashtray, at the last stop of the day, the cute Girl with Red Skirt, and White Peasant Blouse, pictured in the center, is showing a little Leg, as She paints Lovers Lane, on a Mailbox. it has a little rust, and also has, 1212 West Walnut Street(on the bottom) and a hard to read Ph. 562-9603 Milwaukee Wis. on the left side as you look at it! I like it, but will give it to my Barber! :^D
The Purple Iridescent Glass Bottle, has a Glass, with Plastic Flower insert Stopper, and is full of small colored Pebbles, and Sand, I guess it's a Paper Weight, but may have held Oil, or Perfume.
I saw the little Art Glass Vase at the same spot as the Tin Ashtray, it almost looks like a Root Beer Float, Brown and White Marbling throughout, it's 6" tall, has a 2 1/8" snapped Pontil base, and the top is 1 3/4" across, but funnels to less than 1/4" opening, so for Straw Flowers, or nothing! There's etched letters and numbers around the bottom center but hard to read, I'll figure them out though!
The little White glazed Bennington Pottery Tray, has an oval teardrop shape, and has a stylized Person Playing a Violin molded inside, and is 6 3/4" x 4 1/4" x 3/4"h
Last is the small Coffee Cup, not that I need another one, but I really like the Color Combination of the Dark Orange Cup with Green applied design, it's hand made, but unmarked.

Thanks for taking a look for fun, I hope you all enjoy the Hunt, Like I do, and your questions, and comments are always welcome! :^)

Thank you for your comment Mrstyndall, the Glass Bottle, and Stopper, were separated from each other in a large box, the Stopper I found on the top, and was going to just buy it, for another bottle, but after digging around I found the Bottle for the Stopper, and thought better to keep them together! The price for both, was better than I thought the Stopper alone might be! Mine! :^D

Jenni, thanks so much, it was a great day, and I found more Treasures too, including a Huge 7lb+ signed on the bottom Pukeberg WATZ 92 Sweden "Optima" Art Glass Vase, with a paper sticker on the front 11"h x 13"w x 3 1/2"deep with 3/4"thick clear glass, I might post it later! :^D

Thank you all for the Love that you gave,
      Mrstyndall

My faves are the 2 bigger items on the left, the made in Japan moon hanging ceramic vase or planter, and the amber glass bowl, looks like one of the USA stretch glass pieces, made by a few of the early companies like Fenton and Tiffin. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you truthordare, I have a couple of these Disc type made in Japan Hanging Planters, I may have posted one with a Parrot or similar bird on it, but I can't find any information on these, and only found one other, with an image search, for it, I might not be wording it right. I really like these(like you say) Moon Hanging Planters, too! :^D The same with the Amber Bowl, I have at least one more of it too, and I think you're right, probably Fenton, haven't checked yet!

Thanks for the love that you all gave, truthordare, Rich, Kevin, and my #1 Mary, it's very much appreciated! :^)

Youre welcome, glad to share my small amount of knowledge for those pieces. I started a small collection of USA glass stretch style, I really like the texture of them and they were mostly produced in early 20th. There is a group of collectors who have an information site, also helps to identify shapes and colors.

The hanging Japanese ceramic or metal planter in a circular shape is also made with feet as a table ware. These were exported first half of 20th, and probably after 1952.
