The center piece in my collection

I purchased this in 2015 from a guy in Milwaukee, it was listed as a sign that came out of the Milwaukee plant before demolition. I’m trying to see if anyone may have any insight on it. The letters are cast aluminum and were made by a company in Chicago. I mounted it the the backing and framed it in wood and copper. Any info would be appreciated.
