I think this is a antique Spanish military rifle.The barrel is 31 3/8" and overall is 47 5/8".The inscription is on top of the barrel It's hard to read.It looks like:FADI AGAPITO APRIZA PATAGA FIPAR.There is decorative etching on the barrel next to the silver ring in between the wood and the strap eyelet in first picture. Any Thoughts? Christo
Looks like a shotgun-- not military.
A close up with the hammer cocked would be helpful.

Looks like an old black powder breach loader shotgun. Difficult to tell with the limited pictures.
