    Found this little beauty today at a flea market and curious about what it may have been used for. Seems there may have been ink in it at one time!? I’m also curious to date, and would this be quadruple plated? I can’t seem to find anything on the internet with the # 65. TIA.

      This might narrow the age search, from the silver marks encyclopedia:

      That is a mark used by E G Webster (in its various incantations, as EG Webster Maufacturing Co, E G Webster & Bros and E G Webster & Son (1859-1928)).

      I'll do a little more searching, but we'll have to see if I find anything! Thanks for posting Awilmot! :^)
