Unknown Artist

I have this artwork. It looks like a charcoal drawing but this is a lithographically reproduced offset print.
No signature.
I recall vaguely seeing this drawing depicted in a biography of a renowned artist, possibly done as a study in his training at an institution of higher learning.
Have you ever seen this before? Where?
