The flea market gods were smiling on me this morning - this is my favorite score of the day. From what I can tell from my Kralik catalog reprint, this looks something like vase number C17 in the "Meteor" decor. Standing on a "moss green" tri-lobed base, the spiraling shaped body features green threading and a fritty overshot surface that shades from a rosy pink at the base to a silvery white on top - all on a clear ground. It stands 8" (20.2 cm) tall with a base wingspan of 4 1/4" (10.5 cm).
Nice find!! These are great in this décor.
Well done you......the prettiest shell vase I've seen!
Congratulations on a fantastic find - it's gorgeous!
Thanks folks - I'm pretty happy with this one.
I saw this piece at the Pasadena Show in Feb. It has great color and love the darker green base!!!! The old guy selling it sure had an attitude!!!!! Great piece!!!!!
Cool amigo - I didn't go in Feb. It was still there in March and I just couldn't quibble with the price he quoted. I can handle grumpy when the price is right. :+)
What a score! Super
