I found this bowl face down bottom up. In my local creek muddy creek is full of native american history it was settled way before the occupation of settlers and explorers it was found in muddy creek in bethania NC were i live for 4 years now having another piece of history. I am so close to the settlement these shards and many other pieces i found i am in the rite location. Now this bowl is now in my prize possession having the bowl i can say the rim in this bowl is still there but you can never find one so perfect in a bank that. Has been preserving artifacts since time. It is pisgah pottery and i still can drink water from it
