Hi, Can anyone out there please help me identify the comic strip or comic book character portrayed on this pinback issued by John Bartram High School of Philadelphia for their January 1946 graduating class. It was a tradition for each graduating class to select a character or person who became the unofficial mascot of their specific class. Any help appreciated. Also anyone who has images of other Philly High School pinbacks to share, I would like to see them.

Hey Gotta, remember, "You are only as old as you feel". Of course, some mornings, that a scary thought ! I'm trying to find a way to use "73". At 72, I would say, "I'm 72, act like I'm 36 and feel like I'm 144. LOL

Hi, I appreciate the help trying to identify this pinback. I don't think it is Dixie as the school used her as a mascot a few years prior. Not sure they would use it again so soon.
