Glasindustrie Fachschule Steinschönau 'Tazza', c.1913

Fachschule für Glasindustrie Steinschönau, around 1913. Foot bowl ('Tazza') of colourless glass, ground, painted with transparent colours. The stem is hollow and the piece is 17 cm high, 13 cm wide at the rim and 9.5 cm in diameter at the base. The gilding around the rim is fortunately in impeccable condition. An almost identical example can be seen in the Pazaurek/Spiegl book 'Glas des 20.Jahrhunderts' on page 124 (figure 230). Enjoy.
