Hello Everyone!!
I recently came across this vintage Harrison Cady Peter Rabbit papier-mâché mold. It's the first one I've ever seen. This mold is made of, what appears to be, aluminum. I thought maybe zinc, but I filed the bottom and it appears to be aluminum. I'm not sure when this fellow was made, but I'm guessing the 1930's or 1940's. He measures 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. This fellow weighs about 5 lbs. I have a papier-mâché Peter Rabbit and a composite Peter Rabbit bank that were formed on a mold like this. I posted those one earlier last year.
