    This is a rare pulley from early 1900's...the hook stays engaged until the boat hits water..once the weight is removed the hook open releasing the launch..no marks on body except 9 .PAT...HOOK SAYS "RAYMOND RELEASING 1901..where could I find it's value?

      Yhup..I inherited a ranch with house an barn built in 1896... near the Pacific Ocean ...There's stories of the family jumping in wagons for short trip to beach when tall masts could be seen or they heard distress cannons...think this might have washed up or salvaged from beach wreck..in all my searching( I've had for 5 years now)..never saw anything like it
