I don’t know anything about this beautiful cameo but I’ll tell you my thoughts anyway. The cameo is coarse acid treated and not wheel-cut. The surface layer appears to be molten maroon ground glass, the interior glass is white confetti with maroon powders. This base decor reminds me of Czech-German-French lamp work. I would say definitely Deco because the pattern is repeated (like textiles) and not organic. This shape seems very familiar to me along with the weight it resembles the large zipper pattern or the mika inclusion pieces that i have written about. .......I’ll post a link soon
Wonderful piece...
I agree about the shape. It is quite similar to those Czech pieces you have discussed with the OOF & FBS importers mark found on the underside.
Yep, I’ll do a side by side when I get a min
It is a product of the glassworks Stefan Hrdina (Hrdina = in English Hero). Stefan Hrdina founded the glassworks in Prache? in 1908. . Práche? (German name Parchen) was located about 1 km from Kamenický Šenov (Steinschönau) and since 1981 it has been part of Kamenický Šenov.

Correction: instead of Prache? to be Prachen
