Hello I'm not sure what this is actually it looks like an etching on cardboard seems very old on the back it says number 2988 bronze no mat it seems very old the backing of the picture frame was a large piece of wood like 20 inch by 15 wide thank you would anyone know what this is thank you second picture is some sort of a marking
This seems like it might be like a hundred years old I wasn't sure if anyone would know anything about it thank you

There is a mat, which is making a white-ish frame around the picture. A photograph of the back would help - a photo with only the picture. I do not remember how to describe the meaning of "298 8th bronze". There seems to be an artist that the women are looking at, in the next room? I see an easel.

I suspect Scottvez may be able to help with this item. He tends to be good with this type thing. I have an idea on the 298 8th bronze but not positive.

Part way down the page You can see this mark without circle?? Numbers on back are nothing important, they are telling the frame maker the style of frame, color and no Matting needed.
