The smaller one has a metal base/bottom the top I’m not sure what it is and the rock maybe scratches idk everything I posted are from same location

Rock in picture #1 looks like it has brown paint flaking off the edges showing white underneath the brown. What color is the other side? Interesting with all the writing scratched into it.
The smaller stone looks like some mineral deposit but I'm not familiar enough to even guess.
