I found this miniature Gilbarco 1950's era gas pump aprox. 11" tall by 4" wide. It is made of wood and the top slides off to expose a half pint can attached to some copper tubing that feeds into the can then out through a spout that exits the side of the pump to a small nozzle. I believe that their was a globe on the top that was most likely a rubber squeeze ball that would pump what ever fluid was originally in the can. I can't find any thing like it on line anybody have any ideas? I'm thinking maybe a salesman sample or some kind of promo piece.
I'm thinking a novelty "promotional" item you could fill with liquor. I think it's awesome! Great find!
Great piece! Once upon a time when MASH was at its heyday I bought a neat promotional IV drip bag filled with Vodka. Must have been lost in one of my moves.
