Apart from the wonderful green cabochons, one thing that really stands out about this vase is the unusual color. It is NOT Turmalin, (see last photo comparison). It is a very pale brownish-pink. Zartrosa, maybe? I can't decide. But it sure is pretty. :) Similarly decorated pieces are on display in the Glasmuseum Passau. I'm pretty sure the DEK number is 448, but the only mark on the bottom is a small "x" in gold decorator's ink.

I have 3 vases (or 2) with this decor. In addition to the special color, this vase has a beautiful shape.
I called it Aurora glatt (??). I didn't find PN. Probably it will be from the period 1901 - 1902. In GMP I did not notice this decor ??

I misunderstood it. In the GMP, this DEK is presented on "Ciselé".

I have a vase with the same decoration and it has the number 415 on the bottom in gold. I sent photos to Loetz.com ( Deb Petersen Fitzsimmons) to inform them.

That is a good thought, Ales - Aurora is described as a pink opal, and that certainly fits. Thank you - that has been driving me crazy. :)
