Vintage radio jet wagon. Should I file off the rust and paint or will that bring the value down?

This Radio jet lag and has been in my family since it was manufactured. Wondering how I can tell what year it was manufactured, or locate a model number. Is that info on the wagon itself? I grew up in Ely, Minnesota 15
miles south of the Canadian Border, as the crow flies. The roads are salted daily to work the ice to melt for better traction.pretty Rusty. I'm wondering if cleaning it up and paint it would bring the value up? ??????????. Thanks for Ur time, Andrea and Scrappy
