    Here is an unusual bench vice. It has three gears on the front, an anvil on the back, along with wheels used to open and close the vice. Anyone know what it was used for?

      I would venture to say it was made by a person with a home hobby. Probably made to impress people coming into his shop. Has to be home made because it is the worst welding job ever.

      Blacksmiths Iron workers Vice, the gears might have driven a blower. Theres a similar one on E-Bay.
