    This was a gift purchased at a thrift shop. I am so pleased it is mine! The day after it was purchased the shop was destroyed by fire.

      I found a collection of LeRoy's photos in an old house I bought. They seem to be taken in tropical island settings near the equator. Very cool pictures.

      Retired Colonel Roselieve, 62, Of Fighter Command Air Force
      Englewood Resident Was Photochemist For Eastman And DuPont

      Englewood—There will be a military funeral and burial tomorrow in Farmingdale. N. V., for Lieutenant Colonel LeRoy Roselieve. Fighter Command Air Force retired.

      A resident of 260 Engle Street, he died Thursday in St. Barnabas Hospital, the Bronx. He was 62.

      Colonel Roselieve's late father was French Army General Louis Roselieve.

      Born in Brittany, France, Colonel Roselieve was a graduate of the University of Paris, received a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute In Germany in 1920 and did post-graduate work in photographic chemistry at the University of Zurich in MI. He studied also at Cooper Union College in Manhattan.

      Colonel Roselieve was a life member of the Press Photographers Association of New York City.

      He was a retired photochemist for Eastman Kodak and E. I. DuPont companies. From 1923 to 1942, he was the chief chemist and treasurer for Fink and Roselieve Company.

      He was a member of the Eastman U.S. Amateur Skiing Association, Lake Placid Club, the Road Photographic Club of England, Frontenac Winter Sports Club in Quebec, Oval Table Society of New York, and Wiltshire Camera Club.

      During World War II, he received the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon and medal, Bronze Star in the the New Solomon campaign, the Bronze Star in New Guinea, and the Overseas Service Bar.

      Surviving is a son, James Roselieve of Fort Collins, Colo, Colonel Roselieve was a member of the Episcopal Church and a 32nd degree Mason.

      The military burial will be at 11 AM tomorrow in Farmingdale Cemetery
