I found this small pot which I think is advertising for ciror wax . I was wondering who made it, can't find anything on the internet.
I think it is from the art nouveau period but might be wrong. Any help or ideas will be much appreciated.

      A beautiful pot indeed.

All I've found so far is that the brand still exists and is part of an umbrella brand of products produced by Avel - Alexandre Mouras bought the Cirol formula in 1975, I believe. However the Cirol name has been around since 1890.

Make that 1977 for the takeover date, my apologies.

And I don't know where the Cirol came from ------ it's some sort of alcoholic beverage.

      CIROR.

Again I apologise yet again . Google kept on wanting me to write Cirol and it succeeded here. LOL.

      Hi

It looks like a "fat lava" type of finish on it... meaning (I think) no earlier than mid 1950s... they started off first in West Germany...

If it is Fata lava, the colours look more lte 60s/70s to me.

      regards

      Paul

A potter called Paul Jacquet used the same colour combinations.
