I was in the vicinity when Vientiane, Laos fell to the Pathet Lao in 1975 and having been in the region when Phnom Penh and Saigon fell, I knew it was going to be chaotic and unsettled so I wanted to pick up a small souvenir of that point in time I could both keep with me and that I could get back into the States without any drama so I picked up this unopened package of Rooster rolling papers. I did a quick search and these appear to be pretty uncommon. As I recall, manufacture moved to Bangkok, but the quality was much inferior. Still unopened, but age has caused the plastic wrapper to crack. I photographed them in situ in one of my curio cabinets to avoid unnecessary handling. I think there are 40 individual packs in a box...
Very cool item, nice rooster art. Happy Easter Kevin
