Thank you MrsT for the lovely comment, have to agree the baguettes on the back really enhance this gator
Eileen I love your observant comment, Pell had such stylish designs and they always seemed to place baguettes on their pieces that stand out. Many thanks for enjoying this alligator
He's so cool, I love the row of green rhinestones along his back, kinda reminds me of a dragon, or I think there was an actual dinosaur that had these and looked like this?! Whatever the case he's so bright and green and charming looking in his brightness and pose- he looks as though he should be lounging on some half sunken branch in a swamp!
Lauren thanks so much for your super comment, this gator definitely has a dragon like pose, and I can see him lying in wait in a swamp also as per your creative comments, I am so grateful for your kind words
Thanks for the thoughtful love

Very nice Brooch Jenni, my son would have loved to have that one 25yrs ago, but lost interest when he turned 7yrs! &:^} I still love it though! :^)
Bill that is a really kind compliment, I think many little kids are fascinated by alligators & remember the days they would bring babies home from vacation & keep them in the tub (there was a Leave it to Beaver about that phenom), so glad this gator brings back a sweet memory
Really grateful the thoughtful love Sean and Bill, thanks guys :)
Oh my goodness!!! If you don’t mind could you please tell me where you bought this? My grandmother is MaryBeth Burchardt and she designed this and I am eager to learn everything about her works
Thanks Giana & vcal for the love, it's very kind of you both & greatly appreciated
Hi Molly, I bought this Pell alligator online, probably from the popular "e" sites. You can often find this & others by Pell with the MBB mark by doing a google search, then hitting images which shows you more available. You really have to search the ones that show the brooch backs to see the marks, good luck, and congrats on having such a talented grandma!
