    I think that this piece is pretty old, although i don't know for sure. that little ruyi cloud on the back makes me think it might be kind of special. the crackling looks like a good sign of age too. as well as the base. any info appreciated!

      Sandra A. used to say that the size of the crazed clear glaze on a piece of ceramic indicated age, the smaller it was the older it was. I think mid 20th because of that. Interesting piece, surprised there are no marks. Thanks for posting.

      Thanks Newfld and truthordare. Most folks guessed early 20th century or late 19th. i spent hours googling images of sake bottles the other evening and i think it's 19th century. i think sandra weighed in at early 20th as well.
