i've had many of these and i just sold one at the nursery the other day. this one is much finer work than the others i've posted. they didn't spare any expense when slathering on that thick turquoise glaze either.

that's a great question valentino. I'm not sure the answer, but i bet it did have some kind of lid sealed with wax or something like that. thank you Jenni, Mani and valentino!
still remains an pidan probably , can,t see the whole pot , probably chasing the pearl design , nice
