This 4 3-4"H green satin glass elephant was a Royal Hickman design for Heisey between 1944-1953, then reissued by Imperial Glass in the early 80s

Cute elephant. I might have one, but a different color.
Awh, his chubby little build makes me think he's only a baby elephant! His pose is so cheerful, picking his trunk up like that and the glassy green jade colour complete with the raised trunk would definitely make me say he's quiet lucky to have around, :)

Thanks Mary for the super compliment, yes uplifted elephant trunk is said to be lucky & my grandma used to collect that type figurines. Me, I like elephants with trunk down too, looks like they're charging at you lol :)
