I'm returning to the previous post - Himmelblau Glatt or Blauopal Iris. I tried to make photos where the difference is.
Photo 1 - Both vases should be Blauopal Iris. vase on the left PN II-575, 1900, size 11 x 7,6 cm. In the description of this PN inter alia blau opal iris and cobalt opal iris. Vase to the right, PN unknown, approx. 1900, size 16,5 x 9 x 9 cm.
Photo 2 - Both Himmelblau Glatt vases, but more likely Blau Opal Iris. Vase left - see previous post. There is no mention of any blue decor in the PN description. Vase on the right - PN II-819, 1900, size 16 x 13 cm. Again, there is no Blauopal iris or Himmelblau Glatt in the PN description.
Photo 3 - compare all 4 vases. The middle vases are darker with less transparent glass.
Photo 4 - the vase on the left darker with less transparent glass
In the book Giuseppe Cappa - Le Génie Verrier de l'Europa there are on page 100 and 101 photographs of 2 blue vases - figure 164 (identical vase as my vase with handles on photo 1) and figure 162.
Both vases correspond Blau opal Iris or Cobalt opal Iris Iris event. Himmelblau Glatt.
The vase in Figure 162 is PN II-305. Blau Iris is disclosed in the description of this PN (ie there is no opal there).
Possible conclusion:
The photo 1 vases are Blau Opal Iris or Cobalt Opal Iris and the vases on photo 2 are Blau Iris or Blau Opal Iris or Himmelblau Glatt. Personally, I tend to conclude that the vases on photo 1 are Blau Opal Iris and the vases on photo 2 are Blau Iris.
The Himmelblau Glatt decor will still only have to be searched for.
Here are a couple of documented examples of himmelblau glatt - it is quite commonly mentioned in the Tango series:

I agree that in the PN description of "tango glass", the color of himmelblau often appears. However, I did not find the Himmelblau glatt in these PN shapes. But there are both Dunkelblau and Dunkelblau Glatt. The difference in color Himmelblau (for example Ausführung 224) and Blauopal Iris is hardly recognizable (only from photos it is in my opinion impossible to discern).
larksel, I just have to tell you that I keep coming back to look at these; they are absolutely gorgeous. There is just something really special about this color...
