I found this Wrought Iron Grapevine Mirrored Serving Tray with Handles, or Table Centerpiece, first thing at the Flea Market Today Sunday May 5th, 2019, and as soon as I saw it, I was hoping that I would be able to buy it. The Sellers are Flea Market Regulars, and Friends, so when I asked the price, they told me what they paid for it, and said that I could have it for only $5. more, and I was Happy to pay it, and appreciated the very low price that they offered it to me for, knowing that they could have gotten much more! :^D They said that the person that they bought it from, told them that it came from, and was made in England years ago, but I didn't see the mark on the edge, "Made In France" until I got home, and looked it over closer, and was surprised! The Tray is 21 7/8" long, and 11" wide, and the oval frame for the Mirror is 17 1/2" x 10" x 3/4" high, and a total of 1 1/2" to the top of the Handles. All the parts Frame, Grape bunches, Leaves, Tendrils, Handles and Scroll work, looks to be hand made, and welded, or brazed together, and the Mirror is held in the Frame, using a Bentwood Dowel, over Green Felt, nailed in place through small holes drilled through the Iron Frame. I think a very nice look, but heavy as a Tray, so maybe just as a Table Centerpiece! :^D

Thank you for looking and all comments are welcome! :^)

You know my #1 Mary, that could be a possibility, I don't know what's written on the bottom, maybe a clue, but I'm not even sure of the age. I did see on similar one on line, not enough info on that one either, but I really like it, I must have Wine Country on my mind! :^D

This is what's written on the bottom in French:
      plateau reigue
      poids 3K o5o

      This is translation in English
      set tray
      weight 3K 050

So not really any clues! :^)

Thanks my #1 Mary, well if you think about how much it would cost to have a Metalsmith make one like it today, $500.+ would be cheap! :^D I'm glad to have you thinking of me, 500 shirts! Wow, I don't even have a quarter of that! Fact is, yesterday I was going through some things and saw the Godey's Lady's Book, and was thinking about how much you liked the Fashion Plates in it, and maybe how you should have it! We might have to make that happen! :^)
