This charming lamp was handed down to me in my family over the years. The top decorative cap has split apart in several places, which I now have secured together with safety wire. If anyone knows how to repair it, or who may be able to repair the glass shade frame, I would appreciate their help.
The lamp measures 21" high. There are 6 yellow glass panels and 2 pull chain light bulb sockets. The shade measures 16" wide x 7 1/8" high. The white metal frame is colored a gold tone but has separated in several spots at the top, which need repair. It appears to be a silver/aluminum like material inside.
An antique lamp dealer has said it was produced by Miller & Co. from Meriden, CT in the early 1900's. It has a white metal base, much like the shade frame.
I would love to restore this family antique.
