I have no idea what I have. This is going to be the only heat source for my leather shop next winter regardless, but it would be nice to know the origins of it. If anyone could at least point me in a good direction I would be most appreciative.

Very good air tight stove. This one needs a good coat of Rutland Stove Black. Use paint and you will regret it. These were popular during the 70's & 80's and expensive. When the price of heating oil came down people would pay you to haul them away. I know because I got three of them. Problem with this one is I don't see an ash clean out pan. That means let it burn out or almost out before you can clear the ash. If I had this I would give it a good dose of stove black and get a magnetic stack thermometer and it will warm you all night. Unfortunately I now live in Florida.
